Pre-Flight FAQ's

  • Who will arrange and carry out the necessary blood/export tests and associated paperwork?

    We will take care of all Export and Import required tests and paperwork on your behalf.

  • How does the horse get to the airport?

    We can organise road transport to the airport and transport from the arrival airport to the horse’s final destination.

  • Who arranges customs clearance for the horse?

    We arrange all Export and Import customs on your behalf.

  • Do I have to insure my horse for the flight?

    We recommend having your horse insured for the flight, either through your existing insurance or through one of our insurance partners.

During Flight times FAQ's

  • Are the horses accompanied during transit?

    A professional groom will collect your horse at the airport and remain with the horse during the flight.

  • Do I need to provide anything else for my horse during the flight?

    We will provide everything your horse requires. This includes new full leather headcollar, lead rope, rug (if necessary), as well as hay and water during the flight.

  • How does my horse travel?

    All horses are shipped in approved horse air stalls.

After the flight FAQ's

  • What communication will I receive whilst my horse is in your care?

    We will be in contact throughout the process to give regular updates, but we are reachable 24/7.

  • Who is taking care of the import requirements and regulations?

    We have an extensive network of partners and will liaise with the import agent on your behalf.
